What this covers
Pacific Homes values the privacy of its customers and site visitors. This policy explains how personal information is gathered and used through pacific-homes.com. Please read it before submitting anything through the site. Using the site means you accept the practices described here; if any of them are not acceptable to you, please do not use the site.
Information we collect
We collect personal information you choose to give us: when you contact us, request a quote or a cost-to-build report, download the gallery book, subscribe to the newsletter, register for an event, or send us a resume. That can include your name, email address, phone number, the location you plan to build in and anything you write in a message.
We also collect information that does not identify you personally, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. It tells us how the site is used so we can keep improving it.
Cookies and saved plans
The site uses cookies, which are small text files that remember your preferences between visits. Session cookies expire when you close your browser; persistent cookies stay on your device for longer. They make navigation more efficient and help us understand which content is useful.
The Saved Plans feature stores the plans you save in your own browser, on your device. That list is not sent to us and is not linked to any account.
Forms
Our contact, quote, newsletter and download forms are provided by HubSpot, which processes the information you submit on our behalf and stores it in our customer records. HubSpot's own privacy practices are described on its website.
Advertising and remarketing
We use Google Ads remarketing to show relevant advertising on the Google Display Network. It relies on a cookie stored in your browser that does not contain identifying information and cannot access your device. If you would rather not see our advertising, you can opt out through Google's Ads Settings.
How we use it
To respond to your enquiries, prepare quotes and reports you have asked for, send newsletters and product news you have opted into, run our marketing, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Non-identifying information also helps us measure which marketing works and show content relevant to your region.
We do not sell, lease or share the information we collect with any third party, other than the service providers named above who process it for us.
Registration and public posts
Using the site does not require registration. Where a feature asks you to register, such as commenting or submitting content for social media, anything you post publicly is visible to anyone and is not protected by this policy.
Links to other sites
Links to other websites take you to sites we do not control. Their privacy policies apply there, not this one, and we suggest reviewing them.
Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation
We comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation and you control the communications you receive. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also reply to any message with UNSUBSCRIBE as the subject, or call 1-800-667-3511. For more about the legislation, see fightspam.gc.ca and the CRTC.
