The tour follows the same path your package will: it starts at a drawing board and ends on a truck.
The design department
Where every project starts. Designers model entire homes in 3D before a single piece of lumber is cut, and they can show you how ceiling heights get modified, rooms reconfigured, or something designed from scratch for your property. Catching coordination errors here rather than on site is most of the reason the process works.
The production floor
Climate controlled, which means we build year round in the same conditions rather than waiting on weather. This is where the tolerances come from.
Computerized linear saws
Computer-guided cuts that minimize waste and hit specification every time.
Laser guidance
Guides panel assembly for alignment and squareness, which is why trim and cabinetry fit later.
Conveyor systems
Move components between stages so the crew handles craftsmanship rather than material.
The truss plant
On site, and one of the oldest truss operations on Vancouver Island. Decades of refinement sit behind the equipment here, and you will see computerized engineering and precision assembly produce roof systems that are structurally serious and architecturally interesting at the same time.
Quality control inspection
Every component is examined before it can leave. This is the step that is simply not available to a site-built custom home, because there is no controlled environment in which to do it.
Packaging and shipping
Wall panels, floor systems and trusses get packaged for transport, and the logistics team will explain how deliveries are sequenced to arrive in the order your builder needs them. This is also where it becomes obvious why panelized packages reach places other systems cannot, from northern Canada to the other side of an ocean.
The selections showroom
The part most homeowners remember. Full-size samples of everything you will choose from, so decisions get made by looking and touching rather than by guessing from a swatch or a screen.
