Pacific Homes was created in 1982 as the homes division of Pacific Builders Supply, and we still manufacture from that same Cobble Hill location today. We design, engineer and build custom panelized home packages with impeccable craftsmanship and innovative engineering, delivered anywhere our clients dream of building.
Over 60 years of helping homeowners build
Ken McKinnon founded Pacific Builders’ Supplies in 1959, selling building materials in the Cowichan Valley. A delivery truck in 1963 put us on roads across Vancouver Island. In 1969 Ken founded Pacific Truss, still the oldest truss manufacturer on the Island. Then in 1982, with two successful businesses behind them, the McKinnon family saw the opportunity in factory built homes and created Pacific Homes. The first package was manufactured and delivered to a family in Terrace, BC.
Since then we have built homes from 500 square feet to 14,000 square feet and everything between, shipped packages to Alaska, California, Japan, Korea, Israel and Mongolia among many others, and joined the All-Fab Group in 2019. Through all of it we have stayed what we started as: a Cowichan Valley company where product quality, an efficient building process and service set us apart, and where your Build Specialist is a partner from your first call to your finished home.
