Come watch your house being made.

You can read about precision manufacturing or you can stand next to it. Our facility in Cobble Hill is open to homeowners and builders, and the tour runs the full sequence: design, cutting, trusses, inspection, packing, and a showroom of every finish you will choose from.

What You Will See

Six stops, in the order your house travels

The tour follows the same path your package will: it starts at a drawing board and ends on a truck.

1

The design department

Where every project starts. Designers model entire homes in 3D before a single piece of lumber is cut, and they can show you how ceiling heights get modified, rooms reconfigured, or something designed from scratch for your property. Catching coordination errors here rather than on site is most of the reason the process works.

2

The production floor

Climate controlled, which means we build year round in the same conditions rather than waiting on weather. This is where the tolerances come from.

Computerized linear saws

Computer-guided cuts that minimize waste and hit specification every time.

Laser guidance

Guides panel assembly for alignment and squareness, which is why trim and cabinetry fit later.

Conveyor systems

Move components between stages so the crew handles craftsmanship rather than material.

3

The truss plant

On site, and one of the oldest truss operations on Vancouver Island. Decades of refinement sit behind the equipment here, and you will see computerized engineering and precision assembly produce roof systems that are structurally serious and architecturally interesting at the same time.

4

Quality control inspection

Every component is examined before it can leave. This is the step that is simply not available to a site-built custom home, because there is no controlled environment in which to do it.

5

Packaging and shipping

Wall panels, floor systems and trusses get packaged for transport, and the logistics team will explain how deliveries are sequenced to arrive in the order your builder needs them. This is also where it becomes obvious why panelized packages reach places other systems cannot, from northern Canada to the other side of an ocean.

6

The selections showroom

The part most homeowners remember. Full-size samples of everything you will choose from, so decisions get made by looking and touching rather than by guessing from a swatch or a screen.

Where the house stops being a drawing

Choosing finishes from small samples and online photos is how people end up disappointed. Here you see the actual products at full size, with someone on hand to explain the differences that matter.

Windows and doors

Touch the actual high-performance windows and entry doors available for your home, and get the energy ratings, operation styles and design options explained in person.

Exterior finishes

Siding materials, trim profiles and colours side by side. Natural wood, fibre cement or low-maintenance vinyl, with the trade-offs for your specific climate.

Roofing materials

Shingle styles, colours and grades compared directly, with the durability and warranty differences laid out.

Interior finishes

Baseboards, window trim and door casings customized to whatever style suits your family. Small details, but they set the character of every room.

Hardware

Handles, hinges and window hardware from a range of brands. These are the things your hand touches every day, and they are worth choosing in person.

Someone who knows

Our team answers questions, explains technical differences and helps you build a set of choices that hold together as one design rather than six separate decisions.

Why Come

What you get out of it depends who you are

If you are building a home

See your investment take shape

Watching components built with this much precision turns abstract plans into something tangible, which makes every later decision easier to make with confidence.

Judge the quality yourself

A climate-controlled floor, the equipment and the people using it answer the quality question faster than any brochure. No wondering about weather damage or workmanship.

Meet the people doing it

The designers, engineers and craftspeople working on your house, face to face. It makes the build feel collaborative rather than transactional.

Ask the awkward questions

Some things only make sense when someone can point at the actual component and show you how the detail gets handled.

Schedule Your Visit

Come see where your dream starts to take shape.

Whether you are in the earliest planning stages or ready to start construction, an hour in the plant tends to settle the question. Individual tours and group visits both work. Tours are arranged in advance so the right people are free to walk you through.

Visit Questions

Before you come

Yes. We host homeowners at any stage, from initial planning through to active construction, as well as builders and contractors evaluating panelized packages. Individual tours and group visits both work.

The full sequence: the design department where homes are modelled in 3D before any lumber is cut, the climate-controlled production floor with computerized linear saws, laser guidance and conveyors, the on-site truss plant, quality control inspection, packaging and shipping, and the selections showroom with full-size samples of windows, doors, siding, roofing, trim and hardware.

Particularly so. Builders come to understand the assembly sequence and see how sequenced delivery and precision components reduce on-site framing time from weeks to days. It is also the practical way to judge whether panelized packages fit your business, whether you build custom homes, multi-family or commercial.

A display of the actual finishes available in a package, at full size rather than as swatches: windows and entry doors, siding and trim profiles, roofing styles and grades, interior baseboards and casings, and hardware from a range of brands. Seeing and handling real samples removes the guesswork from finish decisions.
