Find out what your house actually costs.

Design, estimating and engineering are included in a Pacific Homes package rather than billed separately. That means asking costs you nothing but the ten minutes it takes to tell us about your project.

Tell us about your project

Eleven questions, and every one of them changes the answer you get back. If something does not apply yet, say so rather than guessing.

After You Send It

What happens next

Nobody enjoys sending a form into silence, so here is the actual sequence.

1
A Build Specialist reads it, not a queueYou hear from the person who will handle your project from here on, rather than being passed between departments.
2
A conversation about site and budgetWhere you are building drives the engineering and your budget drives the size. That conversation regularly saves people months of drawing plans that were never going to fit.
3
Design, estimating and engineeringBring your own plans or start from ours. This work is included, so exploring options costs nothing but time.
4
A package price, lockedFixed before construction begins, which is the point at which most custom builds start drifting. How costs break down.

Reasonable questions

No. Design, estimating and engineering are included in a Pacific Homes package rather than billed separately, so exploring what your project would cost takes time rather than money. You receive a cost-to-build report before any deposit changes hands.

Because the answers decide whether the first conversation is useful. Where you are building sets the engineering, whether you own the lot sets what is realistic, and your timeframe and financing stage tell us how detailed to make the response. A shorter form would produce a quicker enquiry and a slower project.

Completely normal, and the form has an option for it. Bring a finished set of drawings, a sketch on graph paper, one of our plans you would like changed, or nothing but a lot and an idea. Our in-house design team works from any of those.

Say so on the form. It changes how we respond rather than whether we respond. People planning two or more years out often benefit most from an early conversation, because decisions about lot, size and budget are far easier to make before anything is committed.

No, and there is an argument for talking to us before you do. Access, slope, services and local code all affect what a lot will realistically carry and what it will cost to build on. A short conversation before you commit to a parcel is cheaper than discovering the constraints afterwards.
